All Party Parliamentary Leisure
Group Reception, Tuesday 23rd April 2013

Over 70 guests including about a dozen MPs attended the All Party Parliamentary Leisure Reception on Tuesday 23rd April. Gerry Sutcliffe MP, Chair of the Group, welcomed guests to the meeting. Brent Hills, Assistant Manager to the England women’s national team, interviewed two Chelsea Ladies and England players, Carly Telford and Dunia Susi (pictured below), about their experiences playing football, the growth of the women’s game, the new facilities at St George’s Park and their hopes for the game in the future. Business in Sport and Leisure will this summer pilot an exciting new initiative taking women’s football to the huge female audience in bingo clubs.
