Peter Mann Founder Director, pmpgenesis
Peter is a Founder Director of pmpgenesis and the former Chairman of PMP. He has worked in the sport and leisure sector for 35 years and in management consultancy since 1988.
In addition to his role on the corporate board, Peter leads pmplegacy, the major event division within the company. He and his colleagues advise cities, national federations and local organising committees on bidding, winning, planning and delivering major international events, including Olympic & Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games and Football, Cricket and Rugby World Cups. Peter’s current and recent clients include Madrid 2016 , England 2018, the London Olympic Delivery Authority, Glasgow 2014 and World Cup Barbados 2007. His specialist area of expertise is in major event bidding, especially writing winning bid book narratives and in the planning and delivery of visionary legacy programmes. Peter is a Director of Business in Sport & Leisure (BISL) Chairman of the Institute for Sport, Parks and Leisure (ISPAL) a founder member of the UK Trade & Investment Major Projects Sector Advisory Group and a member of British Expertise (promoting professional services worldwide).
